Is the Corpex Anti-Spam and Anti-Virus email security service a boxed software product?
No. It is a managed service, operated at our data centers in the UK.
Will it slow down my company's email?
No, our Anti-Spam and Anti-Virus services will have no perceptible effect on the speed of your email.
Is it disruptive or difficult to set up?
No, it is straightforward. Regardless of how many email users you have in your company, both Corpex’s Anti-Spam and Anti-Virus services are exceptionally easy to set-up and administer.
Do we have to be an existing Corpex customer?
No, any company can use Corpex’s Anti-Spam (in conjunction with our Anti-Virus), irrespective of which service provider you use for other Internet services.
When the Corpex email security system discovers a spam or virus mail, what happens?
Spam and Virus emails are stopped and placed in separate Spam or Virus mailboxes for each user. These can be viewed via the Web Interface and 'released' to a user's Inbox if desired. Occasionally, an email has 'borderline' Spam or Virus characteristics; these will be placed in a "Possible Spam or Virus" mailbox and an alert mail is sent to the user. Spam and Virus emails are deleted after 30 days.
How do we know that the email we receive has definitely been scanned?
A Footer will appear on all scanned email advising you that it has been scanned.
Can we tailor the email filtering to our company or individual user requirements?
Yes, you can do both. At company and user level you can add sender addresses to your 'White Lists' and block sender addresses using company and user 'Black Lists'. This way, within a short space of time, each company and user should have complete control over the emails that they wish to receive.
How do you keep track of new spamming techniques?
Our proprietary technology constantly reviews the characteristics of spam mail and revises its "Rules" to counteract new techniques being used by spammers in order to safeguard your company's email security.
